Regenerative NOx removal

99.9% NOx removal demonstrated in wet and dry CO₂ matrices

Krajete has demonstrated 99.9% NOx capture in CO2 matrices, and outlets below 10 ppb in CO2 polishing. Trace NOx sits inside a bulk of CO2 that adsorbs too, and water competes with NOx for the same sites on a zeolite, so a wet gas and a dry gas behave differently.

Trace NOx inside a bulk of CO2

NOx sits at trace level inside a bulk of CO2. CO2 adsorbs on a zeolite too, so it competes for the same pore space. [NEEDS KRAJETE: which gas stream, and what made it wet or dry]

Water competes for the same sites

Water is held strongly on a zeolite. It competes with NOx for the same sites, so the water content of the gas changes how the bed behaves. [NEEDS KRAJETE: water content of the wet matrix, as vol% or dew point]

What the standard route needs

Selective catalytic reduction turns NOx into nitrogen and water. It needs ammonia and runs at roughly 250 to 450 °C. Krajete's adsorbers work at ambient temperature, with no ammonia, no catalyst, no process water and no reagents.

Adsorb at ambient, regenerate with gentle heat

A regenerative zeolite adsorber holds NOx on the adsorbent at ambient temperature. Gentle heat then drives the NOx back off, and the adsorbent goes back into service. Krajete's pilot units are containerised and built to run on a slipstream. [NEEDS KRAJETE: rig or site, slipstream flow, and number of adsorption and regeneration cycles run]

The published cement-kiln pilot

Krajete's published cement-kiln pilot reached about 10 ppm at outlet on a roughly 100 Nm3/h slipstream of hot dusty kiln gas. Day-2 uptake stabilised above 85%. [NEEDS KRAJETE: test dates, and how uptake behaved over the first days of this run]

Where the NOx goes

On regeneration the NOx comes off concentrated. It can then be recovered as feedstock for nitric acid or fertiliser, rather than destroyed. [NEEDS KRAJETE: what the client valued most]

Pilot scale, then a partner

Krajete delivers to pilot scale. The full-scale plant is built by the client's engineering partner, with Krajete supplying the design basis, the media and the licence. [NEEDS KRAJETE: what followed this run]

Krajete's industrial gas sampling and analysis costs a fixed EUR 4,900 and returns a decision-grade report in four weeks.

It is refunded if the report finds no actionable pathway. An NDA is standard, and Krajete replies within one business day.
