Field deployment

The platform's first field deployment

In a laboratory the operator sets the conditions. In the field the plant sets them. Krajete's regenerative zeolite adsorbers work at ambient temperature, with no ammonia, no catalysts, no process water and no reagents. [NEEDS KRAJETE: which plant, and when the run took place]

Client & context

[NEEDS KRAJETE: which industry sector] · [NEEDS KRAJETE: country or region] · [NEEDS KRAJETE: which gas stream] · [NEEDS KRAJETE: slipstream flow in m3/h, and the full stack flow it was taken from]

Conditions that move

A bench rig holds flow, temperature and inlet concentration steady. Plant gas does not stay that still. A field run is how a bed meets that variability, cycle after cycle. [NEEDS KRAJETE: inlet NOx range in ppm, and how far it swings]

Load, then regenerate

The bed loads with NOx at ambient temperature. Gentle heat then drives the NOx off and the media goes back into service. Only a log shows how the cycles behave. [NEEDS KRAJETE: which gas species were logged, at what interval, over how many hours]

Containerised, on a slipstream

Krajete's pilot envelope is 50 to 18,000 m3/h, containerised and slipstream-ready. A slipstream is a small side flow taken from the main duct, so the plant keeps running while the unit treats it. [NEEDS KRAJETE: the tie-in point, and how long installation took]

What a field run has to answer

For a NOx adsorber, the numbers that matter are capture on the live stream, what leaves at the outlet, and how the media holds up over repeated cycles. A bench rig can show the first two under set conditions. A field run meets all three under conditions it does not control.

50-18,000 m3/h

Krajete's pilot envelope: containerised and slipstream-ready.

[NEEDS KRAJETE: NOx capture on the live stream, in %]

Capture is the share of inlet NOx the bed holds.

[NEEDS KRAJETE: outlet NOx, in ppm]

Outlet concentration is what a permit limit is written against.

Media life

In a regenerative process the adsorbent is reused, not replaced each cycle. Media life is set by how working capacity holds up across many loading and regeneration cycles. [NEEDS KRAJETE: how the adsorbent held up, and what media life the run supports]

The NOx that comes off

On desorption the NOx comes off concentrated. It is recoverable as feedstock for nitric acid or fertiliser rather than destroyed. [NEEDS KRAJETE: was the desorbed NOx recovered on site, and at what concentration]

Pilot, then full scale

Krajete delivers to pilot scale. Full scale is built by the client's engineering partner, with Krajete supplying the design basis, the media and the licence. [NEEDS KRAJETE: what the client decided after the run]

Krajete offers two services: industrial gas sampling and analysis, and regenerative NOx removal.

The analysis is EUR 4,900 fixed, with a decision-grade report in four weeks, refunded if it finds no actionable pathway. An NDA is standard.
